For this Goodspeed Histories project, the client had outgrown her Blogger site and wanted to move to her own domain with a more powerful blogging platform. Because she’d already been blogging for years, it was important for me to save her content and transfer it over, as well as help her keep as much of her blog traffic as possible after the move.
In addition, she had a very clear image of how she wanted the new site laid out (she literally mocked it up in Word and emailed me the file to use). I again chose to go with the Thesis Theme because of its amazing SEO qualities and ease of use for the end-user. This proved to be a very good decision as she turned out to want to make frequent small changes to the style of the site, which is easy to do with Thesis’s design options panel.
